I was invited to go to the local market again today and I bought the most beautiful red/purpley onion as well as an amazing silvery, grey,purple cabbage. There was also some green and yellow on it. 

Not that you’d know from the photo.

I’m not happy with the small painting I did as I squashed it in and it doesn’t look right.

It’s been a lovely day.

I’ve spent the last half hour covering the scrapes on the floor with paint and repainting the fake hearth around the stove. It looks so much better. ( I really ought to varnish it soon.)

Tomorrow  I’ve another commission to do and then I can start to paint boats from Trani.

Now it’s  wine time and an episode of “Have I got news for you.”
