2024 in Pisticci…painting mostly….

I’ve decided to leave my book until after I get back from holiday and then I have some ideas.

It always feels good to have things planned. So I was glad to get a new portrait commission today. 

As I’ve got 6 new canvases arriving on Monday on which to paint scenes of Pisticci,  plus there are 2 very large canvases half hidden away in my gallery which can be painted I could be nicely busy.

And after the holiday I should have some photos to use as references  to paint  scenes from Meta di Sorrento. 

I am now 80% finished with my first Trani boat painting.

Need to leave it for a few days and then do a final check.

I thought that I’d try and fix 2 of the Sapri paintings.

Painted over the people in this and changed some of the colours
Think this is better than it was.

I needed a break before I began the next boat painting.

Painted the sea and the sky. Probably need a few more layers, but I like it.

It’s  pizza night again. Am planning to buy wine on my way there.

Meanwhile I might have a small glass of wine before I go out.
