2024 in Pisticci…why I should keep painting…..

I had visitors this afternoon and we spent a while discussing what kind of painting  they wanted. Also we had attended the same art class 16 years ago.

I realised how much I enjoyed meeting people and creating something for them. It’s a good feeling.

I don’t have to be so driven as previously, but  being asked to do work for people is mostly very satisfying.

Also I should keep painting because it makes me happy and challenged.

It’s been a lovely sunny day.

Coffee and strawberries

I did all the things on my list before 10am.

This time I contacted a bus driver friend to check the time of the bus to Matera. ( there is an online bus timetable….but it’s not reliable.)

I’m checked in online and have organised a new prescription before I leave.

I tidied another shelf and put my box of unused masks on top of the dresser.

I updated my work diary.

Good to see my rose paintings side by side
I thought my boat paintings deserved  a page each

Maybe I should paint something tomorrow…..Cleaning the cooker won’t take all day. Though I was considering repainting it.

My house is looking good.

I could touch up the wisteria , but I thought that would be a nice job for when I got back from  Scotland.

Anyways, it is wine time now.

Cheers 🍷🍷
