Today we got organised. After arriving last night and having virtually no food , the first thing we did was go to the supermarket  at the end of the street. There was coffee in the apartment, but nothing much for breakfast.

Then we went exploring and found the farmacia, the gym and the steps down to the beach. We found the free parts of the beach and checked out the prices of sunbeds on the other parts.

In the afternoon Katy went to the gym and I read and attempted to paint something in my sketchbook…..which didn’t work.

Then we went to one of the free parts of the beach. It was nice and still very warm after 5pm .

Finally we bought lightweight beach towels in bags so that tomorrow we can try out some sun beds.

I’m sitting on the balcony now where we had dinner .

It was a good day.

( the apartment is lovely. )
