Was much more fun at the beach today. There was a nice breeze and it all felt much more relaxed.

First, this morning we went to a little bakery nearby which Katy had seen online and bought 2 cornettos to eat at the beach. We also went out for coffee.

The apartment we are staying in is just off a nice little street with shops, a cafe,a restaurant and a supermarket. ( it’s also ten minutes to the beach in the other direction. )

Last night we went exploring.

Tonight I’m sitting looking out the window while Katy has gone out to the gym.

People are friendly here. It makes shopping in the few shops a pleasure. I think I like smaller towns where people to you.

Two more days and then Katy flies back to Scotland while I spend a lot of time on trains and eventually arrive home in Pisticci for the summer.
