That is what it feels like. A video here, something someone said or wrote, a sudden idea, staring at canvases of all shapes, a new book , a good feeling, a chance encounter. It could be anything until eventually I get ” that” feeling where I know what I want to do next.

In the meantime two hares and a house is a reasonable week’s work.

I wasn’t sure if I could make this work. My photo was not great . It wasn’t possible to stand far enough back. There was a car parked in front. Then the composition  was not exactly what I would have liked , but I didn’t want to paint the houses on either side.

However other than maybe tidying up the door a little I think it looks good.

The glazes ( thinned down acrylic paint of different colours.) Made a big difference to the actual house. It was in shadow. Painting a white house which doesn’t look white is always tricky.

I added a few extra flowers at the sides and the shadow is mostly made up.

Maybe I’ll deliver it at the weekend.

I’ve just turned the fan off so it must be cooler.

Next week it’s to be around 37c most of the week.

I wonder what will happen with the election in the UK.

Am  waiting for a friend to arrive now.

I’ve already got a glass of wine.
