I can’t make up my mind. So I’ve watered the plants and now I’m trying wine and the blues.

It’s pizza night and I could stop on the way and check out how to paint a pot in the style of the ‘ painter of Pisticci ‘.
Then I could deliver the little house painting.
I could go to the bar near the bus station and buy my tickets for the next trip.
Or I could just stroll across town to the pizzeria and do none of these things.
If I do all of these things, assuming the client is at home, the bar has a bus timetable and the art shop where sample pots are, is open then I could work on my new portrait all day tomorrow.
Or I could work on the portrait all day tomorrow and do all these other things later on in the week. None of them are urgent …yet!
This morning I read the first chapter of my new ” breakfast book” . It was good. Just what I’m needing. Something inspiring at breakfast time.

Then it was Scanzano market day. It was fun to go with friends. I didn’t buy any clothes at the secondhand stall. ( hurray! I mustn’t be a clothesaholic after all.)

But I have enough sweet potatoes from the Penny Market to last for 3 weeks. ( no sweet potatoes available in Pisticci…..or on Amazon. )
After a longish siesta due partly to being woken by church bells ringing at 3am. ( No idea why! Couldn’t get back to sleep for wondering what was going on. Was an earthquake coming? Had somebody important died? Were we at war?) I worked on the portrait. Both people in it are wearing sunglasses and it’s not possible to see their eyes.
I think the wine has helped. I’ll just go past the art shop and take a photo of one of the pots. ( I’ll be chosing my own design, it’s just the technical bits I want to check. My new black chalk paint should be perfect. )
It’s hot. 30C inside.
Will be pleasant to walk to the Lanterna.
Cheers 🍷🍷
