2024 in Pisticci….what has happened to my electric bill…….

I don’t exactly know.

After discussing it with 2 friends and looking online it appears I’ve been auctioned off to the highest bidder.

I don’t remember getting an email or any notice that everything was going to change.

Today an envelope arrived containing about 8 pages of stuff. Three of which looked like forms to fill in from a company  I’d never heard of.

When I looked online to the site where I usually pay my bill it said my supply had ceased.

It looks like another company has taken over from Enel which I’ve been with all the time I’ve been here and which I eventually worked out how to pay online.

It was very aggravating as I was getting along fine with my latest portrait and thereafter couldn’t concentrate.

However I have taken the first step to sorting it, which is to find all my relevant house documents,  despite nearly expiring from the heat up in the attic.

Tomorrow I’ll have a think about it.

Tonight I’m going to pick up my old lady painting so that is one thing sorted.

I went shopping this afternoon so that I can work all day on the portrait tomorrow. Both people are smiling in it. Lots of teeth. But it’s looking good so far.

As I am taking Ashwagandha pills I have decided that I don’t get worried any more .I tell myself that, and it seems to be working. Whether it’s the pills or me telling myself it doesn’t really matter.

I didn’t take any photos today and a post without photos doesn’t seem right so I looked through all my Facebook memories which I’ve saved and got quite nostalgic.

I found this piece of wood on the road in the painting, on the day when I was an actress on a scooter for a day. My best souvenir painting ever.
Did a series of acrylic and pen sketches of local people. Loved this one.
Thought about painting outside one year. Notice Seaview painting on table to add to the ambience.
The day I bought my little artist’s house . The key was just the icing on the cake.
Covered in paint while painting walls .
Doing a star jump while painting with the white beauty painters.
My first sculpture in tufa.

It’ll soon be time to go and pick up my painting.

Cheers🍷🍷
