2024 in Pisticci…the most interrupted portrait…..

Usually I like to get started and then carry on with a portrait until I’m about 80% done ,when I  step back and give myself a day or 2 to start to see any obvious flaws.

But this time I’ve had work to do for a friend, a scary electric bill, an exhibition and today a painting to change because someone didn’t like it.

However I’m pretty well finished the portrait.  I told the client that I’d have it done by Wednesday and that should be okay.

Today begun by trying to find out the bus times for my next trip. There are some possibilities…..assuming the online timetable is correct. When I went to buy a ticket it wasn’t possible. Might need to try plan B.

Then I cancelled the next trip in August. There were a few things I wasn’t too sure about. I’m quite relieved. Now I can look forward to this one and decide whether I want to do something similar again when I get back.

In between fixing the unliked painting and working on the portrait I had a look in my email spam folder and found a letter from my new electric company. It was welcoming me and advertising an app. So I think I’m now going to be able to pay my bills online. Perhaps ……..But it’s progress.

Yesterday I ordered something online which might help my dried out soil hold water. I wonder if it will work.

I also had time to do a load of washing today. When it’s about 40C it doesn’t  take long to dry.

I started off writing this here, but from about 4pm a until 7pm it is very hot …even with the fan on max.
However it’s several degrees cooler through here.

I’d like to do some of my own stuff this week. And maybe paint the pot in the style of the painter of Pisticci, now that I know how to do it.

It’s been quite a satisfactory  day even though nothing is really finished.. .

Cheers🍷🍷

Outside.
