There are grey clouds ,but it is even hotter right now at 5pm.

Mostly today I’ve read the latest book on my kindle and scrolled through a lot of articles on how tourists are not popular in several countries and are ruining things.
I’m not sure if I’ll be a tourist next week when I go to Oliveto Lucano. In my eyes I’m an arty explorer who wants to experience what it’s like to live in a little ( much smaller than Pisticci) hilltop village in the south of Italy.
I’d like to meet people and chat, as much as I am able. I want to explore old streets where people live a life different from mine….or maybe more similar than I imagine. I’m not that bothered if there are any historical churches with wonderful art work , there are lots of them in Italy, I’d rather imagine what life was like for people who lived here centuries ago.
If I can, I might paint something. I’m meaning to take my new portable easel.
But , I don’t really know what will happen. That’s why it’s an adventure.
I’ve sorted my sandals and looked out some sleeveless tops. I’m only going for 3 nights so I don’t need much.
I ordered a new sketchpad.
It’s still too hot to spend much time in the other part of my house.
I like my new twirly comfy painting chair , though it’s not as comfy as my old yellow velvet armchair.

I was going to go to the supermarket, but it’s too hot and I can’t be bothered. Tomorrow will do…..
Wine time now. Cheers 🍷🍷
