I went to the supermarket early and it wasn’t too bad at all.

Maybe it’s  not the heat stoppping me painting, but just the In-between period between projects, when I don’t seem to be able to do anything.

It was very encouraging  to get a photo from someone showing one of my paintings in their house.

My new sketchbook arrived. Its much better quality than I normally use.

I’ve spent some time checking out oliveto lucano online and discovered that it is cooler there than in Pisticci.  Rethinking clothes.

I found a mural which I should go and check out. And I had a look on Google earth to see where I’m staying. And where the nearest food shop is.

Probably I should get some painting equipment organised. I can’t wander the streets all day.( there’s a thunder storm forecast for Wednesday)

I even watched a video on painting Italian street scenes ….and then laughed at myself as I thought that’s what I’ve been doing for nearly 20 years.  There is aways something else to learn I suppose.

My kindle unlimited library is full of books so that I can read lots when I’m not painting or exploring.

I was going to go out tonight, but I put it off until tomorrow.
