This morning I spent several hours being driven up mountains, down valleys and through forests. I saw cows, sheep and deer. It felt very remote . The road was like a snake on steroids. I was very proud of my stomach for dealing with it.
We also popped into Accetura and I saw the best mural I’ve seen so far in Basilicata on the comune building. It looks like an interesting town. By the time we got there I was all photoed out.
But I have some photos of cows, sheep, views, trees etc. The deer ran away before I could photograph them.
If you don’t get car sick it is worth exploring around here. I think we were in the parco gallipoli. I took photos of some signs but they are still on my camera and too small to read.

This afternoon I painted poppies on a plate and finished another drawing.

And I ate well again. My hosts have cooked for me every day.

Probably I will come back here. Even though it’s small, I still haven’t seen everything or done everything I planned.
I leave at 8am tomorrow and should be home in Pisticci by 9.30am ……if all goes according to plan.
Cheers 🍷🍷
