Today’s excuse for not going out was that I have a cold sore. In this heat!! I used to think I could get cold sores by just thinking about them.

Have ordered serious cover-up make up. 

I am reasonably expert in covering up as have had a lot of practice over the years.

However on the plus side I contacted my new electric company on their app and then spoke to them on the phone.  It is possible that all is well. ( I was impressed by how not worried I was about doing this. Maybe the pills are working. )

I painted a lot of small canvases which I thought I might use.

Today my new little light arrived. It’s a work light and I bought it to take with me when I go on trips and I want to draw or paint ,but the lighting isn’t very good. I can stand it on the table, or hang it from something. It also has a magnet in  the bottom so I suppose I could stick it on the fridge. It charges like my phone.

I’m planning  a new painting including oliveto lucano and lots of flowers . I made my first sketch idea today using crayons, some paint and white markers. It was fun. And having tidied and organised everything yesterday made it easy to find all the things I needed.

This afternoon I decided to paint my first scene from Oliveto  which I drew while I was  there.

I worked on until nearly 6pm.

It’s still quite hot outside.

Glad it’s wine time now.
