I finally did it. I’ve ordered a portable air conditioner . It should arrive on Tuesday. I’ll see if if makes a difference as the temperature doesn’t look like it’s getting  lower any time soon.

I don’t know if it’s age or it really is hotter. Possibly both. I’m sure I  remember that several years ago the temperature  in my house was 25c . Now it’s 32c.

Most of the time I’m okay, but today I didn’t seem to be able to stay cool. Not all the time, but out of range of a fan it was not so nice.  Within range of a fan it’s okay and I can paint without any problem.

I was working on the  latest Oliveto scene. Its at the not very nice stage where I’m searching for colours which aren’t  exactly there, but will look good in the painting.

However I’m started and only one tiled roof to go. The other parts should be more fun to paint. I’d really like to get the lighting  right. “Right” as in, so you can see the sunshine.

The best thing about this painting is that I am pleasing myself.

I’ll probably carry on painting it over the weekend.

For now I’m enjoying being close to my new fan and hoping to find something on Netflix to watch. I’m awful fussy.  Maybe I’ll check YouTube incase there are any new crime series available.

Next week I should really start practicing  going out in the evenings,  but tonight I’m hot and tired……got 9 ice lollies in the freezer – so could be worse. 😂
