As I’m writing this it’s  raining and I can hear thunder in the distance. It’s not colder outside as I just opened the door to let the cooler air in, but there wasn’t any. I won’t need to water my flowers though!

Mostly today I’ve painted. It’s cool when I paint. I’m in the underground/ underneath part of my house with a fan beside me and the hours fly past.

This morning I spent about 3 hours adjusting little things on yesterday’s painting.  I thought it would take me an hour. I was being very careful not to spoil it .

The final thing to do was to add the electricity lines. I think they hold the scene together. There were more in reality. I drew them with a white acrylic pen and then a black one. It’s very difficult to get a thin enough line with a brush.

After lunch I started the next scene, but I didn’t do very much. I experimented with a palette knife as this painting is very much about the old wall and door of the house.

Then there was the thunderstorm just as I had decided that I would update my work diary. So the WIFI went off. There’s always tomorrow  ……..

Now it’s wine time. And WIFI permitting, Sunday vlogs.
