It seems, after speaking to various people, that everyone here, not just foreigners, have been feeling the heat.

Tonight I’m comfortably  cool.

Every other year I managed perfectly well with 2 fans. 

But, this year  it’s been different. Luckily the extra heat coincided with getting a pension. Very  fortunate.

After a relatively sleepless  night, not due to the heat , I needed to get to work on the first of two paintings of Oliveto.

This afternoon as well as chatting to a surprise visitor, I worked some more.

To my surprise the postman arrived with a set of watercolour brush pens which I had ordered yesterday. That was quick!

I’m staying home tonight as I’m tired. Hopefully I’ll sleep better.

A bit of Icelandic drama should fill in the evening.
