It’s really been a close to perfect trip.

My stomach forgot to be frightened.

The bus journey to the airport was relaxing and I arrived in plenty of time. ( the bus smelled a bit like a toilet….but I might have confused it with toilet cleaner. )

The plane was on time. I had nice people to sit beside so chatting made the time pass.

And then my very helpful friendly host met me at the airport and delivered me to this gorgeous apartment.

I’m sitting outside  on the terrace looking at a beautiful moon with the sound of the sea in the distance.

I probably could have got a taxi to Pisticci  for around the same price, but this feels like much better value for money.

Tomorrow I want to go to the port and see the fishing boats and maybe walk along the promenade.

Then I’ll go back to the airport and get the 5  euro airport bus back to to near Pisticci. 

There is a bottle of prosecco  in the fridge. Limoncello and homemade olive oil available. A lovely selection of biscuits, cakes and yogurt for breakfast and the WIFI worked straight away.

Sitting out here feels magical.

Will take photos from outside tomorrow. I should definitely come back.
