Am sitting here tonight happily contemplating life. ( At least in this minute. I don’t like to take anything for granted.)

The door is still open and I can see my twinkly solar lights on the Oleander bush. It’s after 7pm.

It’s not too hot any more. I could sleep upstairs last night.

Today has mostly been about preparation. 

I made peanut butter, hard boiled 6 eggs and made lunch for 5 days. ( I’ve missed chickpeas)

Then I downloaded all the photos I’m going to use to paint Oliveto Lucano onto my old tablet.  ( that’s the one which only does certain things and needs careful handling….but I can’t throw out as it works more or less……)

After that I downloaded 31 photos to put in my work diary. And the printer refused to print.

So after checking out various printers online I decided I wasn’t brave enough to invest in a more expensive one and ordered a new one very similar to the one I have. My work diary will need to wait until later this week.

I was expecting visitors so decided to do a quick sketch in my cat sketchbook.

My visitors arrived before I had finished .

It was such a lovely visit. I like showing people round my house and meeting new people.

Selling several paintings was a bonus and more than covered my latest buys on Amazon, which I’d been feeling a bit uncomfortable about….even though they were mostly art related  …..except for the teeth whitener…….and the glasses cleaner ….and….

My neighbour has said she will help me clean and tidy my plants tomorrow. I think they will look a lot better  than I would have done on my own. It feels nice to belong.

Now it’s wine and Sunday vlog time.
