I wondered why I was feeling so hungry and then I thought about what I was painting. ……..

I started about 11am again today.

I’ve just been standing looking at the painting and I’ve decided to cut off a chunk of the table at the back so that the oranges are above the table line. Then I’ll make a nice wooden edge to the bottom of the window alcove. I don’t know whether to paint the red checked tablecloth or to add flowers in the flowerpots  in the window.

I was wondering what I was thinking off when I decided to paint this. I wasn’t going for strict realism. I just wanted to make something colourful and Italian. And what could be more Italian than food.

It’s been such a good feeling , being in charge of the design. I might sell it , but its more important  that I’m proud of it

Oops pressed something strange there. Don’t know what that little square is.

I tried to take a photo of Fluffy at the window so that I didn’t only have art photos.  This was the best I could manage as she won’t jump up to order….

It’s pizza night and maybe market day tomorrow.

I’m tired, but I’m pleased with all the food I painted. When I looked at the photo of the risotto I wondered how I would manage. I bet there’s not a youtube video on painting risotto. 

So a small glass of wine before I go out…..
