It was definitely  the right decision to opt out of the art competition. 

This morning at 7am I painted another coat of varnish on the tile ……and some paint came off another little house. ( Not one that I had fixed.)

I fixed it .

Made lunch for four days and watched another Sandi Hester video.

Painted another coat of varnish . Only one small detail needed fixed.

Ate lunch.

Tried not to look at the tile.

Put all my summer clothes away and got out my winter ones. That took my mind off tiles.

Then I thought it might be a good idea to use the heavier varnish which I used on the shower room floor as a final coat. 

I tested it on a little tile.

Decided that I would use the heavier varnish as a last coat.  Nothing moved. ( phew!!!) And it looks good being a little shiny.

I’m happy with it now.

I had some blue gesso left so I used it up on sketchbook pages.

After that I went out to inspect my strawberries.

Now it’s wine time. I’m tired, but relieved that everything seems to have worked out.
