It’s been raining most of today. Now it’s  stopped. It’s very windy. But at least it’s light. I can see blue sky from where I’m sitting.

I never thought I’d be talking about the weather in Italy as I  previously, naively assumed it was more or less sunny all the time. It’s just more extreme here. It’s hard to belive that less than 2 months ago I was so hot that I was looking forward to Scottish weather.

Had to add a cardigan and socks to my outfit today.

I’m not going on a trip this month as my vague plan didn’t work out. Next month I should be going to Scotland and then in December I’ll be in Bergamo.

Next year, all being well, I’d like to go somewhere  every month as it’ll be my 20th year in Italy and there are so  many places still to visit.   

It was 6 years ago today that James fell off his scooter and  subsequently died.

I thought I’d draw him …as he’d probably be pleased that he wasn’t forgotten.

Drawing someone is a nice way to remember a person.

Oh, there is more blue sky now!!!

After that I drew a couple of objects I might put in a still life.

I think I’m in a between stage where I’ve finished something and I’m not quite ready to start the next project.

Even more blue sky now……..

Wine time now I think and might see if I can find something to suit me on Netflix.
