It doesn’t look like they will be arriving today………Sigh!

However  it looks like the rain is finished and there won’t be any more until next week.

And I had a lovely visit with friends. I made coffee and we had it in little coffee  cups with saucers. It doesn’t sound like much, but it felt good. If it hadn’t rained I might even have gone out and bought biscuits.

Sometimes I can’t believe I used to make cakes and biscuits.

( the melting marge incident in the combi microwave put a stop to that.)

I was really looking forward to my new red shoes arriving. 

First the postman arrived…..with a letter for someone else.

Then there was another knock at the door. It was someone asking about another commission.

So now this week’s work is organised. One small commission  and I’ve prepared four small gift canvases. That should keep me going.

It’s definitely  colder.

My strawberries are looking cheerful.

I haven’t seen Fluffy at all today. I assume she’s  at one of her other houses.

Now I’m waiting for another friend to arrive.
