2024 in Pisticci  ….bits and pieces.

Today’s plan was to fix the nose on the portrait. That didn’t take long …..and I managed to resist changing lots of other things. From previous experience when I do that I then spend ages trying to get back what I’d already painted.

After cooking with soya oil last night I needed to go out and buy olive oil.

It cost nearly ten euros. Olives must be in short supply this year.

In Dirupo
I like the old and scruffy look. Plus nice shadows.
This is the way into Dirupo most tourists take.
Such a pretty corner
Nearly home.

I’m still thinking about what I’d like to paint next. There’s  too much choice. So I thought I’d paint hares for fun.

A very grumpy hare.
This one was done using my new water soluble oil pastels. I love using these.

I found this on Facebook memories today.  My fireplace has seen many changes.

This kept ne warm by making me smile every time I looked at it.

It’s been another nice day.

And a pretty evening.

Wine time now. Pisticci street market tomorrow.

Cheers🍷🍷
