Sometimes I think that I haven’t done very much in a day. I’m: very much an ” achieving”  person. A list of things, ticked makes me happy. And if I have a photo to prove it then that’s even better.

Today I wrote it all down in my little black book.

I varnished the latest 3 gift paintings.

Then I got on the computer, using the monitor, and attempted to load 10 photos onto FINEARTAMERICA. But it didn’t like the format of my photos and I couldn’t work out how to change them. So gave up on that.

Contacted the gas man so that he could deliver more gas. ( arrived when he said he would, so now I can have heating if I need it. )

Next I went up town to deliver a painting.

First I went for a coffee in the piazza. I just missed the brass band.

So there I was sitting enjoying an espressino when a man I recognised , but don’t know from where,  asked if I would paint his portrait.

I thought that I might as well….so I took his photo. ( and forgot to get a phone number or any other details!  But this being Pisticci  am sure it will all work out. )

I wish I could remember where I know him from ……

So that’s  what I did for several hours today. Another hour and it’ll be done.

In the meantime my new blue shoes arrived.

Around 4pm I remembered that I still hadn’t started on that big canvas.

There was another beautiful  pink sky tonight.

I think that was a very satisfactory day for an ” achieving” sort of person.
