After a quick glance at my phone this morning this this how I began my day.

The highlight  of my day was a lovely phone call with my daughter. I’m very proud of her.

I decided to have a ” comfort ” painting day. ( healthier than ” comfort” eating. )

And I like painting hares.

I’ve been using reference photos from free photo sites, but without making a particular effort to copy them exactly. I’m hoping that I’ll eventually invent my own hares.

Incase I got on very fast I cut up and prepared another 8 small canvases.

I did that while waiting for the newly black gessoed ones which were sitting on the bins outside in the sunshine, drying.

I’m not as fast as I think…..

I only managed to paint two .

I think my hare painting is coming on. And it all started with a dream last Christmas. 

It’s dark now. Time for Netflix. I had the heater on for the first time today.

And I did order another kind of pizza last night. The waitress came back afterwards to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake. Was a fun evening with friends and neighbours .
