Having got the times completely wrong I realised that the doctor’s  office was open this morning. I was convinced it was open in the evening on a Friday.

I’ve been thinking about getting a flu booster, but had put it off. Then I woke up this morning thinking of all the people who would be coughing on the plane all the way to Scotland.

That was when I checked on my phone for the times and decided  I’d better just get it over with. I prepared by taking my Kindle.

I might be in for a long wait.

However there was only one man waiting when I arrived.

It was nice to practice my Italian as it passed the time.

It is a bit boring waiting. And each patient has as much time as they need. Which can be 20 minutes or more. But to be able to decide to see the doctor and then see her the same day seems like a luxury compared to Scotland where I’m informed you might need to wait a week.

I was 5 mins getting the injection and a couple of prescriptions. I always feel popular when I come out as quickly …..at least I make the next person happy.

It was  very windy when I walked home.

This afternoon I prepared another 8 small canvas boards.

Then I got my new book ( Kateryna Bilokur) and chose some flowers I thought I could paint.

Tomorrow  I’m probably going to Marconia market and then a concert in Miglionico in the evening. What a very sociable day.

Wine time now, and a friend should be arriving soon.
