2024 in Pisticci….exceeded my desirable number of steps today…….

It was market day in Pisticci  so I went for a look around. There are always things to look at and people to talk to.

Lovely clear morning. The tree at the end of my street looks bigger than I imagined. Trying to work out if it would reach my house if it blew over. Luckily it’s quite flexible.
On the way to get a coffee after the market. There are lots of steps in Pisticci.
Am looking forward to seeing the Christmas decorations  lit up.

I think my latest small flower painting was just too difficult. Or I should have made less flowers, but bigger.

Think my acrylic wet palette ( homemade) looks very workmanlike. 

I’ve prepared another 8 small canvases and chosen some more flowers. …though I think I’d like some more reference  photos. I fixed the tulips this morning and am now pleased with them.

I think I like groups of flowers more than single ones.

In the middle of the afternoon  I got a phone call from someone I’d painted something for a few years ago.

So now I could be painting another small mural in the new year. I walked over to discuss it  so will send some possible scenes when I get back from Scotland.

It’s pizza night again. I think I’ll have the crudaiolo.

And as I can never eat a whole pizza, this was half of the topping for breakfast last Wednesday. ( plus an egg)

Last proper pizza for 2 weeks.  Though my son in law does a pretty good version.

Now better decide what to wear. It’s quite cold in the evenings .

(Katy says it’s  really cold in Scotland.  Brrrrr! )
