When I wrote yesterday that I’d probably be sitting in the airport wondering what I had been so worried about I was right.

It didn’t get better last night.  Despite being careful not to do anything that would keep me awake I only slept about 3 hours.

I spent ages wondering if I would be able to find the platform for my train. There are only 2 platforms in use!

So far today everything has gone just fine.

I was offered an upgrade for six euros to travel business class on the train. That was very nice.

The best bit today has been using my paintart app on my tablet.

There have been phone charging points everywhere which means I can use my phone as much as I like.

I’m sitting in the departure lounge now.

Looking forward to a glass of wine on the plane.

If all goes to plan I could arrive in Edinburgh before 8pm Scottish time.
