Sometimes I have what is , I think, a great idea and then later I’m not so sure.

I’ve now deleted everything I wrote three times. So maybe it’s not the right time.

Instead I’ll write about my new cistern which is making me laugh.

It’s working perfectly well and using less water than the old one, but it is a little noisy.

First, when I pull the new cord it gasps, splutters and groans. After that there is a short break until it fills with water then it hoots very loudly like a railway train.

Still, it fits in well with my screeching door.

Today I mostly worked on a seascape.

It was fun to do this.

Now it’s dark and I have all my twinkly lights on. I’ll  light the candles soon.

Am glad it’s  wine time.
