The day began with Fluffy jumping up and looking in the window to let me know she was there.
I let her in and she virtually ignored the cat food, instead jumping up onto my knee and settling down for a sleep.

I don’t own Fluffy. She’s a town cat. So I’m honoured when she is friendly. After an hour on my knee she headed off upstairs for my bed and didn’t come down again for ages.
I’m sorry that I’ll be away for such a long time next year, but she’ll survive.
I’ve never had a cat because I travel quite a lot so a visiting cat suits both of us.
The courier left a parcel for me at the bar at the other side of town. I decided to go and get it while there was a blue sky.

The parcel was a laptop cover. When I got it home I tried my laptop in it. It fitted.
Then I tried my laptop in my travelling rucksack. It fits easily. Perfect! Now I can take it to Scotland and maybe do something with my book. I’m hoping that I will eventually be able to see and work on my laptop without glare and blurring. And I need a project for when I’m in Scotland.
Today I painted another two seascapes.

I’m going out tonight, because I was invited. Theoretically I was going to the ” living nativity” anyways, but I know what I’m like. I’ve become so ” can’t be botherish”. However I’m looking forward to meeting up with friends and enjoying the event.
I found some very long candles.

Time for wine now, before I look out my warmest clothes.
Cheers🍷🍷
