Am just lying about , relaxing after travelling all day yesterday.

I’ve just realised that I paid £16 for 2 bottles of wine today when last week in Pisticci I bought 2 ( litre) bottles of a similar standard for less than €5 .

It was nice to go out for coffee in  my favourite Perth cafe.

Maybe I’ll do some charity shopping when I’m here. I saw a lovely duffel coat today. Would have bought it for sentimental  reasons. I have fond memories of duffel coats.

The knife statue is still here looking impressive.

I saw these poor half frozen little pansies and took a photo as I have a fellow feeling for pansies. 

24, 15x15cm canvases arrived today, along with some bright green masking tape. Painting all these should keep me occupied. I thought I’d like to paint Scottish things ….you know, like the flying haggis. I wonder if I could paint a stag…..After my ” sheepcow” and 2 rather inferior highland cows I could do with some practice. I don’t like to be defeated. 

Tomorrow I should have my eye appointment and then I can decide whether to stay here or go back to Italy and return later.   I’m inclined to skip two extra journeys.

Now drinking my expensive wine…….
