It looks like being expensive to stay in Perth.
Though if I gave up wine, coffee and getting buses then I could afford to eat.
It’s not really a big problem for three months.
However in Pisticci I feel rich. I can drink wine, go for as many coffees as I like, have a pizza out weekly, take a 2 day trip using the train every month and still pay my bills.
I don’t really want to give up drinking wine. So maybe I’ll cut out coffee. I’m not prepared to walk up the hill to Katy’s house either.
Food and paint are more or less the same price as in Italy.
I’m paying for my cataract op with some of the money from the sale of my little artist’s house. I had that in mind when I sold it.
I’m very fortunate to be able to do that.
I’ve had fun charity shopping for plastic boxes and odds and ends today. I’m so organised now in this little room.
My paint and gesso arrived so I can start painting tomorrow if I like.
It’s been another beautiful day beginning with a lovely sunrise.

Haven’t given up wine yet……
Cheers🍷🍷😀
I found this photo of a painting I did 8 years ago today of snow in Pisticci.
