2025 in Perth….

It feels like I’m making myself at home now.

That was part of my plan for this year; to see if I could be at home and comfortable wherever I was.

I’ve enjoyed wandering around charity shops and Poundland etc picking up little odds and ends to make my little room more functional and homey.

I liked the woodland mug because  it had foxes and hares on it. And the other one was just so pretty ….and 50p.

I was going to use them to put water in for painting, but they’re too good.

Today I found a plastic basket with a handle for my new paints and a plastic box with a lid for a stay wet palette.

I think I’ve got everything  I need now. ( or more!)

I’ve found some photos of Scotland on Unsplash so I’m ready to begin.

It’s been another cold day with a lovely blue sky.

I went outside this morning to see if I could get a better photo of the sunrise….but I’m not up high enough.

Too many houses in the way.
The ” cold” tub.
An icy morning
It’s been cold enough for the snow to stay all day.

I’m enjoying my nice homey room tonight.

Will be out looking for wine tomorrow.  But I have enough left for tonight.

Cheers🍷🍷

Painted this about 8 years ago when I had a cold and I was living in my little artist’s house.  It was the view from the sofa.
