It occurred to me that if I was to sit on top of the roof then I’d get a good view of any sunrise.

It was fun sitting on the bed, looking out the window, imagining myself on the roof and then drawing myself.

In fact I was so cheered by having an original thought that I decided it would be today’s painting.

As well as looking at recipes for cottage pie at midnight when I couldn’t sleep, I also wrote a list of things I wanted to do and one of them was to paint some things  which were more personal. And a bit challenging.

It was lovely to go out for coffee and a wander around charity shops with Katy later on.

And now it’s  wine time already.
