After a disturbed night’s sleep where I woke up worrying about my eyesight, I decided that retail therapy was definitely the way to go.

I headed off for the retail park and bought a travel watercolour tin, some water pens, a box easel , a set of watercolour  pens, a set of sketch markers, a fountain pen and ink……and I think that was all. No, I forgot, I also bought a wooden ruler and a plastic box to store things in.

After that I met an old friend and we spent 3 hours chatting. That was fun.

Once I got home I threw out all my inferior  painting stuff. It just isn’t worth trying to make something good with rubbishy equipment. ( all the cheap charcoal pencils are now in the bin)

It’s been a lovely sunny day….and I was so busy I forgot to take any photos.
