It all started out very well.
Apart from the adverts on TV. They are so depressing…..unless you think that constant adverts about cremations, making wills , getting cancer and helping badly treated children and animals is cheering . When I left Scotland 20 years ago adverts were mostly about cleaning products, coffee, chocolate etc, and some of them were funny or entertaining.
Then I went on Twitter, ( I’m not calling it x) I haven’t had a load of horrible things on it, and I get a lot of valuable news from it. Years ago I chose several people I respected and put them on a private list and it’s been fine.
But I miss tweeting fun things and the days when people discussed what was on TV.
After all that I watched three episodes of Watercolour challenge and had a cup of drinking chocolate. ( carefully changing channels to avoid adverts)
Then I wrote something brief about myself for the exhibition, sent it, and in return got a much extended version back. Italians are much better at saying nice things .
Decided to go for a walk to the shop where my debit card was refused.
Contacted the bank on my app and in the process narrowly avoided sticking the leg of my ready readers in my eye. ( very stressed!!!…however seems fine.)
Am not very inspired by the view on the way to the shop.

I was going to finish the 2 small daffodil paintings, but a combination of “cantbebotheredness” and the fact that lots more daffodils had opened so everything looked different meant I pottered about for 20 minutes and then put them away.
2 weeks ago at this time I was just arriving home from the clinic in Edinburgh. I’ve been in Scotland for 6 weeks now.
Today’s old photos are from 2019.
