Finally!

I had to go into town to get a repeat prescription.

I haven’t been into town for a couple of weeks so I thought I’d explore the retail park before getting the bus back home.

I was drawn to the art section in one of the stores…..

And there were several round canvas boards ( 30cm in diameter) at a reduced price. I bought 4.

They’ll fit in my suitcase. I might make some round paintings of Oliveto Lucano.

Third day of project…..which is more a ” by the way” than  a conscious move. I drew around the top of my tub of gesso and enjoyed doing these little sketches. No reason why they wouldn’t work on a bigger scale.

It felt good to be out in the sunshine. It’s been a beautiful  sunny day.

There is a beautiful  light outside tonight. The view out of my little window is lovely.
