I’ve been supporting Ukraine in different ways since the start of the Russian invasion and yesterday was sickening.

I’m lucky I can use art as therapy and also moping about once I’ve done what I can helps no one.

I’m grateful that I’m not in danger of being bombed, my children and grandchildren aren’t being called up to fight in a war they didn’t start and for now I have a good life. I just don’t take anything for granted.

So today I drew another 2 small round sketches of Oliveto Lucano and then I drew the big versions of them onto canvas.

Tonight I’m going to the cinema to see the latest Bridget Jones film with Katy and Sam. Am looking forward to that.

Only 3 more days of drops in my eyes and then I can do heavy weight training( not ever!) Skateboarding ( no!) Go karting , nope! But I can wear mascara. Hurray!

Better go and get something to eat before we go out.
