2025 in Perth….out and about…..

I had a lovely sociable morning . First I chatted to a nice lady at the bus stop. Just like I do in Italy, but in English….with a Scottish accent.

I liked the white tree and the dark shadows

Then I met an old friend who I’ve known for about 40 years and even though we haven’t seen each other so much until the last few years we have a lot in common.

It occurred  to me that it’s very relaxing to chat without having to speak clearly and in English. ( without the Scottish accent and words)

This afternoon I bought some ingredients to make another casseroley thingy. I need to get back to normal. 

Tomorrow  I really want to paint. So I’ve no other plans.

I was looking back to spring 2022 which was when I was painting 50 little corners of Pisticci

Painting and keeping warm
This was very complicated
I was pleased with the car.
I always enjoy painting scooters and washing…..and pots.
I like the colours in this.
I like a challenge  … it wasn’t the most picturesque scene, but it is sold.
Later on I added some hens in the foreground.

I watched some of Meghan Sussex on Netflix last night.  It was a lovely antidote to what is going on in the world right now. I even briefly considered using one of her recipes.

Now it’s wine time and I’m planning to watch something cheerful on TV.
