2025 in Perth….making bread and painting

I’ve been enjoying sourdough bread here. I even googled how to make it . However Katy has a breadmaker and so we thought we’d make ordinary bread. ( she hasn’t used it for about 10 years.)

Everything  in and ready to go.

We might not have used quite the right flour, or maybe the yeast was a bit old…….

Not quite what we expected
After 20 minutes in the oven.

I ate most of the crusty cut off bit ……it was pretty good, though the butter helped. I’d forgotten how good butter tastes.

The rest of today I worked on my second round painting.

Still a work in progress, but I’m liking it.

I found photos from summer 2022 when I painted a big mural by myself in someone’s home. ( I painted a second one later in the same house.)

Work in progress. I remember wondering if I’d ever get it finished.
Finished
With the pink sofa back in front. I painted the pink flowers on the right to match it.

I was still painting my series of 50 corners of Pisticci.

Must’ve painted this at least 3 times
I liked the washing and flowers in this street in Dirupo.
Looking down on the market

Wine time now. Happy Friday.

Cheers🍷🍷
