What a satisfactory day it’s been so far.

Katy and Mark are off out at the rugby so I’ve almost had the house to myself all day.

I decided to have another try at bread making after going out last night and buying bread flour and new yeast.

It was quite exciting though I found pressing all the right buttons a bit challenging.

However, 4 hours later…….

Now that I’m past my 4 week   “being careful period” I thought that I’d get back cooking again. Today I made  something with bacon, potatoes, onions and cheese.  And , yes, it looked like everything  else I’ve made. Perhaps I’ve found my style of cooking……

I had time to hoover upstairs and do some other stuff. It feels like being back to normal now.

After an hour or so working on yesterday’s painting I think it’s 80% finished.

Now I’ve begun the 3d one.

Wine time now, and possibly an episode of Midsomer Murders soon.
