2025 in Perth….doing nice things……

Thinking that I might have to postpone my return home, made me decide that I’d better do some nice things, and some brave things to cheer myself up.

So I got out in the sunshine ( yes , it was another sunny day in Perth.)

After a trip to the small local supermarket ( exercise and fresh air.) I came home and made a hot chocolate  to drink while sitting in the garden.

I didn’t need a coat to sit out.

Then I made a “thing” with rice, mushrooms , broccoli and cheese.

And ate some for lunch.

After that I picked some Heather and other flowers from the garden and replaced some flowers in my window.

Pretty…..and a lovely blue sky.

Now for the brave thing…..I ordered some copies of my book from a printer in the UK.

That involved picking one, getting a quote, then getting another one after checking how many pages there actually were instead of estimating. Managing to download the book as a file or a document or whatever and making sure that I get a proof copy to check first.

For someone who thinks that it’s possible to press a button and everything would disappear never to be found again, this was brave.

Apparently  the file arrived. Hurray!!.

Am much cheered up…..

I’ve found some photos from early 2024.

Started using water soluble oil pastels
Doug and Tina
first painting of my rucksack
Katy and Doug
More attempts at self portraits. Drawing.
Finished painting.
Drawing
This was what I was looking at
Oh, dear this is how it went…..
Painting fruit and vegetables.

And a painting of a view in Sapri.

This statue is apparently quite controversial.

It’s  still bright and sunny outside. Maybe I’ll go and have a glass of wine in the garden.

Cheers🍷🍷
