I attempted to make wholemeal bread in the breadmaker and when it came out the paddle thing seemed to have broken off and was stuck in the bread. Aaaagh!!! I went so far as checking the price of breadmakers and found it was possible to buy a replacement paddle.

However when Katy came home she said it wasn’t broken, but it often stuck in the bread, and sure enough it was now back in the bread tin. PHEW!!!!

This morning I tested  my wine drowned laptop out of curiosity and discovered that it worked if I used it as a tablet. It has a touchscreen. It does pretty much everything it did before ………

I now have an embarrassment of gadgets.

Poor Doug was ill today and had to go to the vet. ( he’s fine now) But Tina missed him and cried at the door so I sat with her and kept her company.

This afternoon I tried to get on with the final round painting , but I was not in the mood.

I remembered to write out a series of exercises for me to do. May begin tomorrow……
