2025 in Perth…..busy day…

As it looks like I’ll be here for some time I’m getting back into work mode. ( very loosely!)

It’s been another sunny day. We were discussing the weather at the bus stop along with cataract operations and other stuff.  ( I’ve been missing the casual interactions I have in Pisticci on the way into town and on the way to the supermarket. ) So one of the highlights of my day was chatting at the bus stop.

I had been going to make something with pastry and spinach today, but the dishwasher is broken and I spent some time washing all the dishes lying around. Then I couldn’t be bothered cooking.

And I thought it was Monday. Doh!!!

Then I was going to paint a hare until I noticed Katy’s prizewinning flowers and thought that I’d better paint them instead.

Drew them with my posh crayons….
And then painted them with acrylics.

Not sure if I like them, but maybe they’ll  grow on me.

My book proof arrived yesterday and I’d like the print to be bigger,  so I emailed about that. ( what a difference from the first time when I was too scared to ask for any changes.)

I’m almost up to date now with photos. These are from December 2024.

My son’s dog
Doug and Tina
Wild animals for a friend.
I did this with wax crayons to use as a Christmas card.
I was pleased that I could do this so small
Work in progress on big seascape….
Every little painting was a challenge
This was a practice for the big seascape
My neighbour’s roses
I did quite a lot of drawing in sketchbooks

Now it’s  wine time . It’s been a very satisfactory day.

Cheers🍷🍷
