2025 in Perth….enjoying the rain….

Lying on my bed with the rain battering down on the velux window in my room is actually quite nice. It’s evening, I’m warm and the day has gone well. I’m surrounded by paintings and I’ve the blues playing quietly in the background..

I’ve been here nearly 3 months!

Today I planned to make a sort of pastry with spinach and ricotta. I used to eat it a lot when I was in Parma. This was not exactly the same, but it turned out well.

Something that isn’t covered with a cheese crust like everything else I’ve made here.

I worked on my hare painting with a mixture of acrylic paint, posh crayons and some other markers.

It’s nice to have a friendly hare with me.

As I had another canvas already painted black I thought about drawing a second hare , but decided on a sunflower instead.

This is done with the ” posh” ( caran d’ache neo colours 11) I love drawing with them. It’s a lovely loose scribbly feeling using them.

I found some more photos from summer 2015. I think looking through these is keeping me from getting too homesick.

I gave the boys a print each of this.
I like this effect with just the faces painted.
This was at an exhibition in Sasso di Castaldo.
I’ve painted this scene a lot.
I painted a seascape on an old bit of wood and stuck it on the wall so that I could sit outside and pretend I was by the sea.
In the olden days when my plants were so tidy and my door was green.
I loved this painting set in Guardia Perticara.
No idea who this is , but I like his hand.
Don’t remember these 2 either.
My first ever mural in Marconia. It worked really well.
I had a lot of fun painting it. The door was more difficult than the people.

Wine time again now. And a cosy night in.

Cheers🍷🍷
