I’m feeling a bit strange being back in Pisticci while my eyes are not back to normal. I was expecting to relax and enjoy seeing everything anew, but instead I’m still a bit anxious. My plan is to make myself believe that being back in my own home I can relax and then they’ll finally fix themselves. The optician said that sometimes it could take a few months.

Meanwhile I can see very well.

It might take a while to get used to sometimes using ready readers while painting detail , such as in portraits. Finished the first layer of all 4 heads in the latest portrait.

I went off out to the supermarket  today and while there got another  small  commission.  It was lovely to see lots of people I know again.

And I had a coffee on the way home. I’ve missed espressinos in the Genesi bar.

Fluffy was back 3 times today. I think she has kittens somewhere. 

I’ve found a whole series of Sky Arts teaching videos. I watched one on painting on black backgrounds today which was quite interesting  as that’s what I’ve been doing.

Now I might have a glass of wine while I wait for a friend.
