After another disturbed night I was woken by Fluffy scratching at the door at 6.30am.

It was a beautiful  morning and I went outside to drink coffee .

And after only one day of watering there were  roses and strawberries.

It was Market day in Marconia and I had forgotten how lovely it was to be warm. I didn’t have breakfast so treated myself to an apricot cornetto. Yummm!

This afternoon I tidied up my pots.

I’ve been adding bits to my first imaginary still life.

In-between I painted a first layer on the portrait I’m working on and painted 2 round canvases black.

Now my house is relatively tidy, my plants are watered and sort of weeded so I’m back to normal. Was I really in Scotland for 4 months?

Fluffy is back and I’m very happy about that.

Thanks to friends I’ve bought enough food to fill up my empty fridge and cupboards.

Wine time now. Good to be home.
