It might have been a good idea to have practised my signature. It hadn’t occurred to me. I don’t like signing paintings . Shyness I think.  Lack of confidence too.

However it probably would have been a good idea to make myself a more  artistic signature as my current signature looks a bit apologetic.

But I have signed everything now.

This morning I finished putting hangers on all the remaining paintings including the very big one.

Most of the paintings are now wrapped or taped together.

It’s been quite satisfying. My paintings have never been so finished before. They are now all ready to hang up on my newly painted wall…in the future when I get round to it.

The wall looks fairly horrible . It’s not particularly damp now , but it really needs stripping back and replastering. ( that won’t be happening)

Maybe it’s age, but I’m not even that keen on being up a ladder. That means painting the floor suits me just fine. Unfortunately  now that I’ve seen the wall , I feel I should do something about it. My  paint arrived yesterday and it looks great. But I won’t be thinking of doing it until I’m back in June.

I’m getting picked up tomorrow about 11am . It’ll be an adventure. I’ve no idea what the venue looks like or how I’ll display everything. Or even exactly where I’m staying. There was even mention of another exhibition. There might not be WIFI.  I’ve never had an exhibition all by myself like this before.

I’m packed. I think I’m all ready now.

Something  nice to watch on youtube would be good this evening.

Am ready for a little adventure.
