I think yesterday was a day of unfulfilled expectations. However today, the reality was very good.

I got up and organised. Made coffee and then pulled a table over by the bedroom window and started painting.

I had brought thermals,but not a hat. So made one out of my scarf.

My hosts arrived mid morning and insisted on turning on the pellet stove and air con in the bedroom.

I was actually , not cold. Afterwards I was nicely warm.

They also brought lunch , and then half an hour ago dinner.

Now that I’ve written price tags, I think I can relax. I might be doing some live painting tomorrow. Who knows..

It’s stopped raining at last. Hurray.
