I started the day eating strawberries which grew in my garden. There’s  maybe not a lot, but they’re special .

I started work about 8.30am and finished just before 4pm.

I think that I’m finally getting there with the portrait. A few more hours tomorrow should finish it.

After saying that I could only work on it for a few hours each day, today was different as I mostly worked on clothes and the background. No small details.

I’m quite tired after 5 days of being with people and soeaking Italian. And all the work that went into getting the exhibition organised. 

It’s so nice to be home.

My neighbour has been giving me some advice on some of my plants. She knows a lot of interesting uses for them.

It’s been very windy and cold today. I can’t believe that I have turned on my gas heater.

Tomorrow I’d better book the train to Naples for next week and then check in online.

Now I think I’ll look for something interesting on youtube.

And have a glass of wine.  Cheers🍷🍷
